For some days I had been observing the food wastes that most often go ignored by our gratitude towards the ultimate Rizq (food and wealth) provider Allah. The reason behind my observing food habits, is the evidence of food and water shortages in many areas of the third world.
Spend your one day without either of the two !
And you will seriously think about it...
We often see many doctors and health specialists suggesting us to eat in a manner that makes you delighted with every bite you take.Feeling the bliss of every single sip you take in !It has been told so because it adds to your daily joys, and you end up feeling healthy, valuing the nutrients you take in.
Ultimately it provides you with better health.
But we eat thanklessly.
Our moods are way more important than valuing the food around us.Our tastes are important than the fact that we really have real good food to it.
Yeh sure mom! I'll eat it in a while !
Keep it in the fridge and i'll eat it soon !
But that doesn't happen most of the times. We are so busy with our lives, probably, following more of money, joys, luxuries, that we end up wasting the joys we shall be grateful for.And one of the significant matters is the food.We waste.
Why cant we eat for the sake of thanking what we are blessed with? Why is it necessary to let your thanklessness take charge you,so much so, that you end up wasting the food ?
Why cant our every bite be for the sake of appreciating the food provider, rather than the moody taste buds we are dominated by ?
We are well aware of the shortage seen by third world...
People crave for food...anything ! Anything they could get for eat !Damn the hygiene !
We can see those poor skinny children round the big trash baskets, searching for some carbs if they can find in there..for proteins are what they cant find often..in edible state. Its my assumption of the fact that meat etc gets rotten..don't know if they care for it or not..
One has to think...And literally value...the food...for I haven't expressed much of the picture..But we all are well aware..It exists. Its true.
And we were not born with the choice to be who we are, nor the poor !!
Allah bless us all and give us Hidayath to value the Rizq.
